Our Philosophy

Wetley Manor Care Home is a spacious 22 bed, purpose built, single storey, high quality residential care home for the elderly.

We are committed to providing the highest levels of service and care within an environment that combines the highest standards of comfort with modern facilities. Our philosophy is to respect the rights, choices, dignity, privacy and independence of our residents at all times.

Since 1992 Wetley Manor Care Home has built an enviable reputation within the local community and with associated health care professionals for providing quality care. We continually strive to maintain and develop upon these high standards.

Our Quality

Our government inspection reports have always been favourable and in October 2008 we were awarded an "Excellent - Three Star" rating by the Commission for Social Care Inspection (CSCI), now called the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This is the highest rating achievable by a care home and only 8% of care homes have attained this rating nationally.

This is recognition for the overall quality of service that our residents receive and for the hard work and selfless dedication of our staff.

Our Home

We are set in beautiful country surroundings yet we are still conveniently located for the Potteries, Leek and Cheadle. Every room at Wetley Manor Care Home has an outlook onto tranquil countryside or our gardens.

The villages of Werrington, Cellarhead and Wetley Rocks are very close by and have a variety of pubs, restaurants and shops for residents and their families to enjoy.

All of our rooms are single and have en-suite facilities and surpass the governments regulations for room sizes. They all have emergency call points in both the rooms and en-suites.
